Halloween

Ibiza - not just World Clubbing HQ, but - the Halloween Capital of Europe. Most major clubs and venues close by early October, but they - almost without exception - reopen for this night only. It is a highly sophisticated celebration, giving great music, entertainment and spoooookiness! This is not a case of a sheet over the head, or cute crepe paper pumpkins, this is serious. Professional make up artists are fully booked, the costumes have to be seen to be believed and the promo posters are true works of art. Los Dalias, Pikes, Atzarro, DC10, Eden, the list is endless, as are the pleas for spare tickets or sneaky entry onto the guest lists. This is for grown ups and whilst one might mourn the lack of lantern lit processions of tiny, ghosts and ghouls, it has to be experienced at least once for the sheer theatre of it all. After all, who doesn't secretly long for a chance to go beserk in the dressing up/make-up box - because we're worth it?! The weather is still very kind and the tricks and treats are endless.
