Christmas in Ibiza

Having been heaved off the plane, dressed to the gills in wool and bobbles and even the gills are pretty smothered, it's only natural to head to the beach and cast excess baggage aside! Christmas in Ibiza - gorgeous sunny, blue skied days, quiet beaches, dogs willing to play, the odd swim in the sea and friendly restaurants, with great service. Away from the beaches, there is still plenty to do - petting farms markets and vineyards to visit and the odd moment of light shopping. Father Christmas did not forget to factor the change of address into his schedule either, altho' due to a shameful lack of chimney, he did have to change his arrival pattern, by abseiling down from the flat roof - possibly the new James Bond?! A change from the traditional Christmas in Northern Europe, but it works - all sorts of adventures for the children in the balm of sunny days and a glass of something lovely and home cooked food for all, in the rather chilly evenings.
