Tracey Emin comes to Ibiza

Art Projects is a new discovery - two gorgeous minimalist white buildings in the Industrial area - near Ibiza Town. Worth visiting for the buildings alone. Beautifully hung, Emin's works are Neon and water colours. Most were done in Ibiza, but represent her life, I found them very sad, but the lovely and informative Gallerist tells me there is hope! A privilege in any event, to see such a lauded Artist's work in such a perfect setting. Art Projects works in tandem with private art collection 'Lune Rouge'. The summer exhibitions show works by established artists, based on Ibiza projects and the winter exhibitions are of specific works from the Lune Rouge Foundation. Along with La Nave in Salinas (current exhibition: Kenny Scharf), it is wonderful to see such world renowned work, on such a small Island. Not all - Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll - although admittedly, quite a few of the artists are no strangers to such joys!
